3:8. கர்த்தர் மறுபடியும் மூன்றாம் விசை: சாமுவேலே என்று கூப்பிட்டார். அவன் எழுந்திருந்து ஏலியினிடத்தில் போய், இதோ, இருக்கிறேன்; என்னைக் கூப்பிட்டீரே என்றான். அப்பொழுது கர்த்தர் பிள்ளையாண்டானைக் கூப்பிடுகிறார் என்று ஏலி அறிந்து,

3:8. கர்த்தர் சாமுவேலை மூன்றாவது முறையாக அழைத்தார். மீண்டும் சாமுவேல் எழுந்து ஏலியிடம் ஓடிப்போனான். "நான் இங்கே இருக்கிறேன், என்னை ஏன் அழைத்தீர்கள்" என்றான். பின்னர் ஏலி, சாமுவேலை அழைத்தது கர்த்தர் என்பதை அறிந்துக் கொண்டான்.

3:8. Then the LORD called Samuel a third time. So he got up and went to Eli and said, "Here I am, for you called me!" Eli then realized that it was the LORD who was calling the boy.
